Good morning, teachers and classmates,

Today I am very happy to stand here and give a speech. My name is Li Hua, and I am a student in Grade 3. Today, I want to talk about something very important — the importance of learning English.

English is a very useful language. It is spoken by many people all over the world. With English, we can talk to people from different countries. We can also read books, watch movies, and even play games in English. Learning English helps us learn more about the world.

As a student, I think it's fun to learn new words and practice speaking. Sometimes I feel nervous when I speak in front of others, but I keep trying. Every day, I try to remember some new words and practice reading and writing. I also like to listen to English songs and watch cartoons in English. It makes learning easier and more interesting.

I believe that with hard work and patience, everyone can learn English well. Let’s all try our best to improve our English skills. I hope one day I can speak English fluently and confidently.
